Both Arsenal and Real Madrid have experienced recent struggles in their domestic leagues.

Arsenal have managed just two wins in their last six Premier League matches, while Real Madrid suffered a surprise home defeat to lowly Valencia last weekend.

However, both sides have impressed in Europe—Arsenal cruised past PSV with a 7-1 aggregate win, and Real Madrid eliminated Manchester City with ease before edging past Atlético Madrid on penalties in the previous round.

Team News:
Bukayo Saka returned to action for Arsenal last weekend and is expected to start again. However, the Gunners remain without Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Gabriel Magalhães due to injuries. Riccardo Calafiori is also out, and Raheem Sterling is suspended.

For Real Madrid, Aurélien Tchouaméni is suspended, while Dani Carvajal and Éder Militão remain sidelined with long-term injuries. Ferland Mendy, Thibaut Courtois, and Dani Ceballos missed the Valencia game but are likely to be available for this fixture.
