Nepal is taking on Malaysia in their first match of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers Third Round. The match will be played at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium with kick off scheduled for 7:45 pm Nepali time. Nepal will come into this match after a impressive 1-0 win over Singapore in FIFA International friendly last week.

Nepal and Malaysia haven’t played with each other for quite long time. Last time these two played each other was back in 2019 in an International friendly. Nepal lost the match 2-0. 

Nepal and Malaysia are drawn in the group F alongside Vietnam and Laos in the third round of the AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifiers. All the teams will play with each other twice, in home and away basis. 

The table toppers from each group will qualify for the AFC Asian Cup 2027 in Saudi Arabia. With Nepal playing the away match against Malaysia this time, Nepal will host Malaysia in their home ground on 18th November.
