Nepal Announces Final Squad for ICC U19 World Cup Qualifiers
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the final squad of 18 players for the upcoming ICC U19 World Cup Qualifiers. Led by captain Naren Bhatt, Nepal’s young squad will be aiming to secure a spot in the prestigious ICC U19 World Cup. Abhishek Tiwari has been named as the vice-captain.
The squad features a balanced mix of talented players, including Niraj K Yadav, Sahil Patel, Cibrin Shresth, and Roshan Biswakarma. With strong bowling and all-round options, Nepal’s U19 team looks well-prepared for the challenge ahead.
Nepal is hosting the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifiers at Mulpani Cricket Ground, starting from April 12. Five teams will be fighting for the one spot in the global event. Full member nation Afghanistan will also be the part of the qualifiers. Apart from Nepal and Afghanistan; Hong Kong, Oman and UAE will fight for the spot.
