The eagerly anticipated player draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 season has been delayed by a few days by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Initially scheduled for January 11, the drafting event is taking place today (January 13) in Lahore.

Last week, the PCB also revealed a modification in the hierarchy of the players for the PSL 2025 draft. Commemorating the tenth edition of the tournament, the PSL 2025 season itself will commence from April 10 onwards and continue until May 25.

It is notable that PSL seasons usually wrap up by either February or March each year; however, a modification in its 2025 timetable can be ascribed to Pakistan’s duty to host the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
