Nepal is set to play its second match in the ongoing U-19 Asia Cup in the UAE today (Sunday) against Bangladesh. The match will begin at 10:45 AM local time at the Dubai Cricket Stadium.

After losing to Sri Lanka in their opening match, Nepal aims for its first win in the tournament. On the other hand, Bangladesh, coming off a victory against Afghanistan, looks to strengthen its chances of reaching the semifinals with another win.

The team is led by head coach Shakti Gauchan and assistant coach Dhirendra Chand.

Nepal will play its final group-stage match against Afghanistan on December 3. The tournament features 50-over matches and includes eight teams divided into two groups.

Nepal, UAE, and Japan qualified for the tournament by finishing in the top three of last year’s ACC Premier Cup in Malaysia, where Nepal emerged as champions after defeating the UAE.

In Group B, Nepal faces Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Group A comprises India, Pakistan, Japan, and UAE. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with the final scheduled for December 8.
