Nepalese cricket will take new heights as it is confirmed that Star Sports to Broadcast Nepal Premier League Globally. 

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially announced that the popular sports channel Star Sports as the Official Broadcast Partner of the inaugural edition of Nepal Premier League (NPL). 

Now, Star Sports will broadcast all the matches of the first edition of the NPL.

CAN held a press conference and confirmed Star Sports as the official broadcast partner for NPL on Friday along with Siddhartha Bank as the title sponsor. During the press conference, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka said, 'It's a big achievement because it's not possible to simply say that I will pay money and Star Sports will broadcast the NPL on its platform. It’s due to the achievements of Nepali cricket, the players, and the coaches."

Star Sports as the broadcast partner is the massive boost for the NPL as it will bring Nepal's franchise cricket action to the global audience. Having Star Sports with the right to broadcast NPL, it will be shown live not in Nepal but also India, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan at the same time. Also, it will be broadcasted in other South eastern and Mid-eastern Asian Countries such as UAE, Singapore etc. It is one of the most watched sports channel network worldwide, thus not limiting NPL within Nepal but also to the international audience.
